nestle within the heart of Cheshire lies the stunning three - Accho Parvy Lodge , a private garden with lots to offer .
Several tree diagram thriving in the garden have stood for centuries , dating back to the Victorian epoch and even sooner .

In mid - April , I had the pleasure of confab the garden and speaking with Tanya Walker , the possessor of Parvy Lodge .
She draw me through the grounds , drawing my attention to some of the garden ’s most remarkable features .
Ancient Victorian Trees
“ The formal garden that you could see around me was evolve many years ago and is home to many brilliant sure-enough Tree , ” share Tanya .
“ The first and most notable one is the Himalayan cedar , which was very popular in tight-laced times .
“ We have lots ofAcertrees and they ’re scattered all around the garden , which leave a beautiful colour .

“ you could see lots of cherry trees throughout the garden too and some of them are still in bloom of youth in April .
“ We have a beautiful woodlet in the secret garden where there are several fruit trees too . ”
The Gardener’s Pride And Joy
“ Our box hedging are the pride and joyfulness of my nurseryman , ” Tanya explains .
“ He has 28 boxwood to mold in the shape of a ball and we also have a hedge in the frame of a gear , which decidedly it ’s worth see and seeing .
“ There was a kinfolk who came here and they say their gramps owned the land and the house in 1930 and planted the box seat , so it has outlive for years .

“ I trust they see this and know it ’s still there and is being very well looked after . ”
“ The orchard is the oldest part of the garden , ” she continues .
“ It ’s the domicile of two pear , seven Malus pumila trees and two Victoria plums .

“ We also have a little veggie plot filled with bulbs and some crop , such as groundless strawberry , which are great for muddle . Behind that , we have the most beautiful espaliered apple tree . ”
“ The Secret Garden is surrounded by big trees that have been standing for the retiring two to three centuries , ” Tanya tote up .
“ They leave a domicile for many many bird species which haunt the garden .

“ We also make piles of sticks that are used as hedgehog and bug house , which is a great way to incorporate even more wildlife into the space . ”
Visiting Parvey Lodge
“ The most rewarding affair for me is to be capable to share the garden with the other multitude , ” says Tanya .
“ Last class alone , we raised £ 2,400 for the NGS and we have started opening for various other local charity .
“ We are happy to be contacted by other charity that need any musical accompaniment . ”
