Some Like It Hot.
And I do , I really love it , but for gardener it means dateless watering . It takes its cost on a young lady .
Even though it is very hot , the Pianist is not being groundless , as you could see , whilst Chloris droop , he is on the lawn mower . heed you , as I keep telling him , he is golden really ; it is a nice , reposeful , posing - down job .
Before I can sit down there are a few midsummer treasure to bask and deal with you . The secret garden , which was last yr ’s labor , is face honest now the rose and clematis have grown . Rosa‘Phyllis Bide ’ has been blossom for several weeks on the arches .

I have already refer my passion for roses and although some have finish they have reset the baton to later flower unity including these two endearing ramblers . ‘ Francis E Lester ’ is climbing up an old plum tree diagram and ‘ Blush Rambler ’ is blushing as she is oblige to climb the frilly pinkish knicker cherry tree .

The next two are nameless as they were already here and looking very sickly and spindly . It is amazing what a turn of a prune and a practiced feed can do . The first one has the good for you , blueish leaves ofRosa alba . I mean it could beRosa alba‘Celestial ’ as it it has the most marvellous fragrance .
Round the garden there a lots of other flowers which are delighting me at the moment . Here are a few . I love campanulas and this double one is gorgeous .

And in pots there are some overnice splashes of colour . The coleus is a skillful bronzey color and count respectable with the acer .
The dainty slight genus Pelargonium in the front of the next shot is the trickyPelargonium‘Ardens ’ , this is the first meter that I have come it through the winter .

Clematis viticella‘Purpurea Plena Elegans’ andClematis florida‘Sieboldii’
I have lots of pots which I will show you another Clarence Day but I will finish with the wonderfully fragrantDianthus‘Rainbow Loveliness ’ . Next class I shall have this in pots everywhere and all my ally will get a pot too . It smells fantastic .

But now , let ’s join Hector and the Pianist in the specter . A mound is the only place to be when the temperature soars .

Note . For multitude young to my web log , the first photograph is n’t actually me . It is my disreputable scarecrow who clearly lives a life of waste when I am not await .

I ’ve sworn to add no more roses to the few left here but , if I ever come across ‘ Lady Edith Hamilton , ’ I ’ll break my Book in an instant . I fall in dearest with that arise all over again every fourth dimension I see it . I love the bronze flame nettle with the Acer and the Diascia too . Your foxglove reminds me of the Digitalis ferruginea I was able to coax into bloom in my former garden – I have n’t seen it sell locally in days . After your open garden event and all that watering , Scarecrow Chloris calculate like she want a trip to the watering hole – maybe she ’ll allow you to track along while the Pianist picks up piddle - responsibility .
‘ Lady Emma ’ sure is beautiful , as are your Clematis varieties . That Dianthus is unique ! I do n’t think back seeing that diverseness before . dainty that it ’s toppingly fragrant , too .
You do look a act aweary in the first picture but your garden looks fantastic as always . Must seek out more ‘ Rainbow Loveliness ’ as that fragrance is fantastic . There are some in the ground in my garden where I rarely go to delight their scent . Your idea of grow them in pots where they can be closer to one ’s nose has inspired me to do the same !
