Sara says,“The established wisdom is that the leaf garden take a back seat to floriferous display in the summertime months , but you could see from these images that Jan LeCocq took that there is a riot of colour out there among the leaves ! From Bolshevik through orange to chicken , on to purples , maroons , daze blues and , of course , unripened , the leaf lights up the landscape and provides a rich brocade of color and texture .
“ The garden boast over 200 different conifer variety show as well as several 12 Japanese maple , a emcee of nanus Ginkgo varieties , and many deciduous shrub such as Viburnum , Fothergilla , Corylopsis and Hamamelis . To our delight , leafage variegate throughout the seasons and provide something new almost every day . See more on our web log ( http://formandfoliage.wordpress.com/ ) . ”
