My Fall Garden To Do List

This is the beginning of the revamping and reorganizing season.

This is the kickoff of the revamping and reorganise season . It doesn’tfeelas fun as the participating uprise time of year , but it ’s a time for stepping back and take bloodline . Here ’s some of the thing I have on my gloam garden leaning for the calendar month of November . I ’ve already vex my carrot and cabbage cum planted , plus the white potato have really taken off . So , time to start checking off the rest of my listing .

1 . Start anherb gardenin the kitchen window . My dearie arebasil , which I take from cut , and chives which I put on everything . I ’ve already decide to make this a descent horticulture projection with my 4H kids this calendar month .

2 . pile up the billions of fallen leaves from the park behind my house . I ’m not one to pass up an chance and these crispy young man will make a wonderful addition to mycompost sandwiches . I ’m build new garden seam in rows on the back lawn . We ’re making compost sandwiches so they can sit down there throughout the cold-blooded month . Compost sandwiches run their magic safe when you flip brown ( carbon paper ) and greens ( atomic number 7 ) and permit them seat for several months . insistent garden beds !

While I do my share of online ordering , I ’m a loony for perusing garden catalog in a big , comfortable chair with a mocha coffee during the wintertime .

7 . Do n’t forget it ’s dick time ! I recognize , it ’s not the most exciting part of gardening . But one of the best gifts a nurseryman can give him / herself is by rights clean and stored garden tools . After they ’ve been strip or heighten , place theminsidethe tool shed , not behind it or against the door .
