" I domicile in Worcester , MA , which is the secondly large city in the state . Though we live in a residential neighbourhood within the urban center , many of the lots are small . Our draw is only 7500 square feet . The absolute majority of our thousand is in the shade but , as you’re able to see in the picture , I have attempt to maximise all of the south - front space we have ! I move into the planetary house before the summertime of 2013 and did not touch the landscape gardening until 2015 . At the end of summer 2015 , my husband and I went and remain in a B&B in Manchester , VT , and I was in awe of the owner ’s country garden . She yield us a cutting of red bee balm , and this is where my interest group in garden bloomed ! My aunty also give me cuttings from her gardens , which are fledged and absolutely beautiful . By the summer of 2016 , I had rip up half of our yard , tailor down large amounts of overgrowth , and installed a new deck . I researched almost every annual and perennial in the North East ( zone 6 ) and happily expend all summertime cultivating and caring for my new landscape . This summer we installed a new fence , which provided a groovy backdrop for another garden ! I go for you enjoy the " before " and " after " pictures . A great deal of blood line , lather , and binge went into the transformation of our yard , but I loved every unmarried second of it . Now I spend my days outside , enjoying our nation garden in the urban center . "
