I ’ve been curious about flower farms and so tried assist a flower shop from a local bloom farm . It was host by sweet Amanda McCallister of Five Acres Flower Farm in Abbotsford , British Columbia .
At the two - hr shop , Amanda let the cat out of the bag about the account of her family ’s farm , what they develop , how to harvest and give care for thinned flowers , and her hopes for the futurity of the farm . Guests can then pick any blossom and filler the farm has to offer and create the freshest arrangement to their heart ’s pleasure .

The best keepsake from the shop is the flowered musical arrangement one generate to take base . We bring some cast aside nursery boxes used for orchid deliveries , and these came in ready to hand for enrapture our arrangement home .
