" We live in Bothell , WA , in the Pacific Northwest and have discover our backyard Dragonfly Hollow . We get down re - landscaping about 10 years ago , and every twelvemonth we add one new vista to the yard . We love small pool and fountains―our latest is made from the front end of a 1949 Dodge pickup arm hand truck and all the plantings are succulents―we call it Carsland as a nod to our passion of Disneyland . We have 13 ponds and outflow around the curtilage . Our special passion is Japanese Maples ; we enjoy about 30 different sort . In the last few years , we have become very enthusiastic about container garden and have added many throughout the garden . Our last field will be our summer project―a total shade garden that we have named Oma ’s Secret Garden . We make love to share this peaceable space with ally and family ; it is our backyard sanctuary . "
