Agave chazaroiis aboriginal toMexico . It hap near Tequila in Jalisco on cliffs in the tropical deciduous forest at elevations that range from 2,950 to 3,940 feet ( 900 to 1,200 m ) .
Agave chazaroiis a beautiful succulent that forms a solitaryrosetteof unsubtle , spreading , yellow - greenish leaves with narrow-minded , cherry-red - brown margins and a long , sharp last vertebral column . The rosettes can grow up to 32 inch ( 80 centimeter ) magniloquent and 5 foot ( 1.5 m ) in diameter . The farewell are broadest in the middle , measure up to 32 inches ( 80 cm ) tenacious and 8 inches ( 20 cm ) wide . The younger leaves are glossy mystifying green . The onetime ones are nearly gutless , with only small tooth - like spines near the cornerstone .
