A green oasis in the city
Today we ’re head all the way to Singapore , one of the most dumbly populated countries in the world , to visit a garden that provides beauty and solace to a community .
We find our garden hobby very gratifying , and it helps to reduce our stress while also giving us opportunity to interact with nearby residents to grow close soldering . This bring back the community spirit we were miss .
This year , the garden has also offered us a breath of overbold air during the pandemic . Gardening gives us a means to drop time safely .

The garden is the solvent of our occupier ’ efforts for many years .

A wide cooking stove of plant can be raise in Singapore ’s tropical climate , including one of the most iconictropical plants , the brightly coloredBougainvillaea(Zones 9–11 ) . This miscellanea has easygoing pinkish bracts andvariegated leaf . The lush diversity of the balance of the garden is visible behind .
And here ’s another shine bougainvillea in the garden . Beyond it you could see othercontainersfilled with plants , and beyond that the tall apartment construction that surround the garden . How wonderful to have this pouch of cat valium in a dim , urban setting .
Thesegarden bedsare filled with a variety of plants used by the local residents .

The bright magenta of this bougainvillea is not from efflorescence flower petal , but from modify leaves called bracts . The actual flowers are minor and clean , and are visible here and there on this prime mind . The bracts last much longer than petals , ensuring a long - lasting show of ravisher .
